Session Description

When educators begin to encourage students to bring their own technology tools into the classroom, fundamental changes in the learning process occur.  The ultimate goal of a Bring Your Own Technology (BYOT) initiative is to improve opportunities for student learning.  What should happen during the first five days in a BYOT classroom to initiate a successful implementation?  In this session, learn how to start your BYOT program or to give it a necessary reboot.  Be prepared to hear firsthand experiences with BYOT and to construct new strategies to build a firm foundation out of the first five days of BYOT to support the rest of the school year!
