BYOT in my district is becoming a reality next school year. This endeavor is one I welcome, but I know helping others to embrace their responsibilities will be the challenge. I am an Educational Technology Support Specialist for three schools and each one holds its unique challenges.

Although my time is limited at each of my schools, I am planning on making the most of my time collaborating with each of the piloting teachers next year. I have set up a group on Edmodo, and I am sharing an Evernote notebook of ideas with each one. I am planning on using these tools as alternative methods of communication and support for these educators when I am not physically in their buildings.

I welcome all suggestions and ideas anyone has to help support my schools in this exciting journey.
I am also looking for classrooms that are using BYOT successfully and willing to share ideas.
